In my youth, I aquired a passion for technology. Basic programming came easily to me and I later became an Electronics Technician to better understand how computers work. Inspired by Themed Entertainment, and an affinity for crafts, I became a Theatre Artisan and a College Instructor. After taking time off to be a parent, I've come full circle and re-entered the world of technology.
As an Artisan I interpreted designer drawings and used my hands to craft solutions out of wood, metal, and/or plastic.
As a Teacher I found ways to inspire students to find their own solutions and take pride in their work.
As an Electronics Technician I used logic and troubleshooting techniques to understand why something wasn't working and then used that understanding to find a solution.
I am currently learning Active Directory management to improve my skills as a Support Technician and to lay the foundation for becoming a System Admininstrator.
Provided remote Tier 1 support to Pinnacles National Park using a combination of tools, including: GoverLan Reach, BMC Footprints, Microsoft Teams, email, and VOIP.
General labor, artisanal solutions, and gig work.
Coordinated with directors and designers to determine how stage props would be used and how they should look, then determined the best way to fabricate them.
Trained and managed student volunteers in scenic construction and shop safety while also producing scenic elements.
